Dominated
At 12:01AM Pacific Standard Time the election of 2026 got underway. California voters approved a new congressional map that could help Democrats flip up to five U. S. House seats. California success may counter Republican redistricting efforts in other states. President Trump started the redistricting battle to keep Republicans in control of the House of Representatives and to maintain power.
Republicans took a beating in races across the country. This should cause Republican Members of Congress to take a serious look at 2026 re-election chances. Wherever vacationing GOP members are they should consider breaking from Trump…or start looking for a new job. Trump only looks after himself.
Democrats strong showing Tuesday says voters are tired of Trump’s method of governing. Voters are exhausted and fed up with Trump’s chaos, insane comments, high cost of living, paying for “his tariffs” and seeing ICE covered faces beating Immigrants. He torn down the East Room and left the country…not concerned about his government shut down.
People are terrified as they watch Trump’s incompetent cabinet carry out his commands and disgusted as they watch his “family business” build wealth with his presidency. And fearful as Trump demands Congress stop helping citizens with healthcare costs who are uncertain where their next meal will come from.
In a democracy citizens have the power to change the course of their government. There are only 365 days until the 2026 election and a lot of work to be done. Voters must organize and create a local plan to elect Members of Congress who care about their constituents…rather than taking orders from Donald J. Trump.
Before Tuesday Democrats were thought to be in serious trouble…but they fielded candidates who worked hard, offered solutions and focused on local issues. Not only did they rebound but they dominated.

It’s Not About Your Survival, Mr. President
It’s about the survival of those without jobs. But that is not where President Obama spent his time since the election returns from the bluest of blue states on Tuesday. Instead he is pulling together those who helped him win in 2008. The concern at The White House...

My Reaction
First, let me say I believe we need to find a way to provide healthcare to those who need it but without destroying our current system. I believe Americans are willing to fix the healthcare system but will not buy into schemes that break the bank. Now let’s talk...
