The time has arrived for former President George W. Bush to follow the example set by his brother Neil Bush and his daughter Barbara Bush. They are publicly supporting Talarico in the Texas Senate race.
I have supported President Bush’s position to no longer engage in politics. However, the stakes for our country are too high not to engage in the Texas 2026 Senate race in his home state.
In the 2000 presidential election I lead then Governor George W. Bush’s effort in West Virginia. Along with hundreds of others our work resulted in his being the first non-incumbent Republican to win West Virginia in seventy years. I believe this entitles me to give President Bush some advice.
We made a difference…now it’s his turn.
