Counting the days 17 till the election…concerned Americans are counting 808 days until Trump…his chaos and corruption…are on the outside looking in…or maybe on the inside of a Federal or State…let’s just say…institution.
Incumbency isn’t the political advantage it used to be…voters may not have liked Biden, but now that they’ve seen Trump back in action at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue…they like Trump even less…anti-incumbency…has become a global trend.
Stunning decision in Florida…Democrat gubernational candidate David Jolly just endorsed by the Tampa Bay Times…over Republican Byron Donalds who…Trump endorsed a year ago…the Democratic Governors Association…should not do what they did for their candidate in 2022…NOTHING.
American people…don’t be fooled and forget…nearly every state is electing state legislators…this is where and when the congressional districts will be redrawn…scheduled after April Fool’s Day, 2030.
Trump friendly “influencers” say Trump is mad at everyone…because Republicans are losing Congress. When you hear the word…impeachment don’t just think of Trump…there are others in the sights of Democrats…Hegseth, Patell and RFK, Jr.
When we wrote in a June blog post about data centers…and the political opportunity for local candidates…who would have thought data centers would become a national issue…in Governor’s & U.S. Senate races.
Yet to be written…how did President Trump…pick Katie Zachaaris as press secretary…reporting has been it was done without input from Chief of Staff Susie Wiles…stay tuned.
Independents are going to be particularly important in the 2026 midterms…there is a significant amount of dissatisfaction…with the two-party system…don’t be surprised…if the movement started by “No Labels” organization…doesn’t pick up stream.
The 2028 WV governor’s race is underway…it’s rumored Senator Jim Justice (former Governor) who is not happy with his successor…Patrick Morrisey…may resign Senate…if GOP loses control…go home…and take on Morrisey.
Remember when GOP thought there were “pinkos”…under beds…are we going to return to this…when whatever is left of the Republican Party…starts looking for a 2028 presidential candidate…the nomination battles fought within the GOP in 1964 could be returning…MAGA types could move further to the far right…and mainstream Republicans…who left the Party because of Trump…may abandon or re-engage.
In 2028…Democrats must not let “socialism” tear them apart…while they have several impressive candidates eyeing the presidency…the 2026 results…will bring even more speculation.
With all the “created chaos” Trump & his crew have created about the election…don’t just plan to vote…GET IT DONE!
